Envy: I had a really weird dream a few days ago wherin someone ripped off Thunderstorms and changed it to Ed/Winry rather then Ed/Al o_o. I woke up and thought, wtf?

Obviously according to Freud, this means I want to have sex with my brother :p.
Sloth: >_o
Sloth: don't speak to me of Freud, I hate him
Envy: I know you do :p
Sloth: that was kind of part of the motivation of that bad dream fic.
Sloth: 'Alphonse fears that his brother may be dead, and feels guilt that he is not working hard enough on his study. He has a dream where his dead brother comes back and chides him for not working hard enough on his studies.'
Sloth: Analyze THAT for hidden content, bitch.
Envy: Obviously, this means that he wishes to have sex with Den.
Sloth: but these feelings are unacceptable to him, so he displaces them onto an image of his brother's rotting corpse
Envy: See, he woke up before the second half of the dream, where he throws rotting!Ed over the table and fucks him doggy style.
Sloth: the rotting stuff is actually the reversal of the fact that he considers his brother extremely attractive and wanted to have sex with him
Envy: Of course.
Envy: See? Elricest is canon. Freud said so.
Sloth: unless it's actually that Al wanted to have sex with his mother, but in absence of his father to compete with, he's fixating on hating Ed for taking up his mother's attention, so he imagines him dead in revenge
Sloth: castration fits in this picture somewhere too
Envy: And wolves in trees.
Sloth: Yes.
Sloth: See, in his dream Al replaced the LAMP that was on the table with a CANDLE
Sloth: obviously this was because he thought the light of the lamp was too strong and feared it would castrate him
Envy: Yes!
Sloth: ...I am a sad, pathetic little human being
