Well, kinda. :) It comes from back when I still had long hair, after I'd dyed it black for the first time. As it grew out, it turned into three colors: blond at the roots, black in the dyed parts, and red where the black dye was fading out. So I picked the name "mikeneko," which means "calico cat," and added an extra K to make it look less like a guy's name.
