More Temperance. This section is giving me trouble (which of them don't?) I'm having serious problems trying to tell how much angst is too much. Same with melodrama. I usually try to go for a more understated approach, but that is just not working with this fic. I'm notoriously bad at judging the emotional impact of my own stuff. If something seems off balance to you, please let me know, so I can try to correct it.
