[omake] you know, I sort of imagined this conversation between Ed and the Gate right before the beginning:

Ed: *attempts to cross the Gate back home*
Gate: Bitch, your ass is so mine.
Ed: Is not.
Gate: Is too.
Ed: Nuh uh.
Gate: You're a little brat, the world would have been better off without you anyway.
Ed: Would not.
Gate: Would too.
Ed: Look, we could do this all day. Why don't we call in a judge?
Gate: Like who?
Ed: Like... my little brother. Since he's the one I did the most damage to, he's got a right to say whether I deserve to exist or not.
Gate: Okay. *goes to get Al*
Ed: Ha ha, fooled you. Al's a too-nice idiot who loves me, no matter how much I hurt him.
Gate: Ha HA. Fooled YOU. All I have to do is tell him how many people he could help and save, and he'll do what I say.
Ed: Well, shit.
Gate: Bitch.
