I hope we're gonna make it through another day

Happy new year! Welcome to 2008! Boy, it's going to take a while to get used to writing dates as /08.

On the RL side, just a brief note that this marks more or less the beginning of the end of my tenure on JET. I decided to make my second year my last. I'll be returning to the States at the end of July... although GOD KNOWS where I'm going to go (or what I'm going to do) then.

Back to the fandom side, I do have a few things going: hime1999 posted a few fics over on alter_series which I had written so long ago I'd almost forgotten about them. Miracle and Bliss. Don't those sound like happy, fluffy, sparkly titles? Aww, I thought so too. ^_^

This got posted on fandom_secrets today, which mostly only served to remind me that gee, I should update SS again. Eheh.

Also: Although I love my Christmas!Pimp!Roy icon, the holiday season is wound to a close so I need a new one. Would anyone care to reccommend an icon? Or possibly make one for me? *hopeful sparkles* I always use Sloth for my default icon if I can, but I'm not too picky.

Next, Elricmas went off very nicely this year, more or less. My request was for Elrics wingfic, and I was hopeful, but the fic I actually got exceeded all my expectations. velvet_mace has outdone herself. Go and read it, everyone!

And finally: Speaking of Elricmas, I also did my own Elricmas fic for cryogenia. Her request was a Hei/Ed hurt/comfort fic in which Heiderich was the one being traumatized and abused, which I... had a great plan for a fic for, and utterly failed to make it anything like complete before the deadline. So now it is a continuing fic.
