Christmas Fic Challenge: It's A Wonderful Fic

With Halloween over, we're officially getting into Christmas Season time, and you know what that means -- fic challenges! This year, however, I'm passing over the usual Secret Santa fic exchange in favor of trying something new:

Even if you've never sat down and watched it yourself, you've probably at least heard of the Christmas movie special It's A Wonderful Life, in which a despondant man is given a chance to see what would have become of his town had he never been born. Framed as a Christmas miracle, It's A Wonderful life is a Christmas classic that has been pastiched a hundred times, from Simpsons to South park to 30 Seconds with Bunnies.

So what's this? Well, it's the Christmas 2008 It's A Wonderful Fic Challenge. Choose a character -- any character you love, from any fandom -- and write a fic focused on them. Write a fic showing them how their canon (and the lives of their friends) would have been different without them in it. It can be any character in any fandom, however, each character can only be claimed by one person.
