2010 Fandom New Year's Resolutions
Jan. 2nd, 2010 12:21 amI'm not very good at coming up with new years' resolutions -- generally things that I need to do, I will either do anyway, or there are barriers to doing them that cannot be overcome on the strength of a foolish new years' promise.
But here are a few I've come up with for this year. So here are:
Mikke's 2010 Fandom New Year's Resolutions:
1) I will reorganize all fic files on my computer, updating them to a less clunky and outdated file format (hint: I'm currently using, and saving files in, Appleworks 6,)
2) I will standardize my header and filename system, renaming the files according to their actual fic titles, rather than a vague one-word story concept.
2) I will restore all fics to their missing places on LJ.
3) I will get hold of a host server in my name, and put up an at least rudimentary website which archives all fic from all of my past and current fandoms.
4) I will resolve what's going on with Scimitar Smile.
5) I will finish as many of my in-progress fics as possible. (vague and terrible, but that's about as much of a promise as I can muster.)
