On to Yama arc! Where Kurogane and Fai spent six months together in Yama, without the restraining presence of the kids or Mokona around, and Fai practiced things that didn't require speech. *wiggles eyebrows*

Summary: Kurogane and Fai's relationship started off as power and control, but gradually it becomes more than that.
Author's notes: This was written for a Valentine's day challenge/contest on kuroxfai; the prompt was "a confession of love without using the word love." This was pretty early for me in the fandom, but I still kind of like it; it's sort of how I imagine Fai and Kurogane's relationship developing if they had really  started boinking so early. Sex, but no affection or  trust, not at first.

( There should be more to partnership, to trust, than contempt and pain. )
