eijentu's birthday. Happy birthday Jo!
"This is ridiculous!" Kurogane said, except that it came out as more of a barking and growling.
When they came to a world they took on the characteristics of that world, and this world was no exception. Unfortunately, all the people in this world were talking animals. Fai, that bastard, had figured out how to change himself back to human within the first hour, but Kurogane was still stuck with paws and a tail.
Fai looked at him thoughtfully. "I don't know, Kuro-doggy," he said. "I think you look very handsome. With that fine grey and black pelt, those sharp-pricked ears, and those beautiful white markings over your eyes! Why, if I didn't know better, I'd swear you were a purebred."
"I am a purebred!" Kurogane barked. "Suwa's line is a noble and pure one of aristocrats, I'll have you know! Are you trying to insinuate something about my mother?"
"Now, Kurogane-san," Syaoran tried to placate him. He wasn't in a much better state than Kurogane, having been changed into a compact, sturdy golden dog with white chest markings and -- Kurogane had to admit that Syaoran had gotten the worse deal here -- short stubby legs. "We've been in worse situations before..."
"Change us back now!" Kurogane howled.
"I don't know, Kuro-bristly," Fai said thoughtfully. "The thought occurs that we might do better entering you into a dog show and sweep the prizes than changing you into a human and trying to find work. How's your 'sit'?"
Syaoran sighed.
~end.
