Announcement: First FMA Iron Smut Challenge!

Okay, here's a post to test for interest.

Announcing the First FMA Iron Smut Challenge! What is Iron Smut might you ask? Well, it's really quite easy! Just answer the following question:
1) Are you familiar with the premise of Iron Chef?

Well, basic premise is that there's this cooking show where two chefs compete to complete the best dish within a certain time limit. Meanwhile, commentors say witty things and the chefs shake their booties as according to their nationalities.

Iron Smut, therefore, is two authors facing off against each other to finish the better smut fic within a certain time limit!

A proper 'Iron Smut' has a number of roles to fill... the Iron Smutters themselves, an assistant for each, the chairman, and a bunch of people to serve as the audience and judges.

All the participants will gather in a chatroom -- either AIM or variants, or chatzy -- at an agreed-upon time. The challengers will present themselves, and each be given a theme or pairing to work with. They will have fifteen minutes to think about what they write, and then off they go!

Every ten minutes, the participants will post what they have written to a specially designated Iron Smut LJ-post. And at the end of 90 minutes, the audience will cast their votes, and the author who has completed the best, or most, of their smut fic will be declared the winner!

If you think you would like to participate in the First FMA Iron Smut Challenge, reply below. State whether you would like to be a contestant (absolutely no more than four contestants, though we need at least two!) an assistant (to poke the contestants into posting every ten minutes) a commentator or a judge.

Since it's gotta be GMT-friendly, and GMT is eight hours ahead of Mikke's timezone (California), it'll probably be early-to-mid afternoon-depending-where-you-are for Americans/Canadians.

Which means I'm not sure on what date it can take place, since I'm going to be travelling the next two weekends. ^_^;
