Since it seems to be in fashion to rant about names, where the heck did "Amestria" come from all of a sudden? This is one of those cases where it's not all that ambiguous, y'know. アメストリス。There's supposed to be an S on the end of that...

1) Jade's birthday fic. Involves spanking and angst. I should get cracking.
ETQ: Low. Some cerebral angst but he gets good sex -- he's even on top.

2) Rest of unnamed warehouse fic. Damn, velvet_mace is outdoing me in terms of OH MY GOD NO fanfic.
ETQ: (Elric torture quotient) High. Very high. :D

3) More Temperance. Always, always more Temperance. *deep sigh*

4) Battlefield-Roy fic. kawaiimae, didn't you say you wanted to write this one with me? But I didn't know you very well at the time. Corner me on AIM sometime and we'll discuss it.

5) Doubles, the argument. *sigh*

Project: Off-Fandom week. Taking a week out of the FMA fandom to, hopefully, clear out some of my accumulated other fandom bunnies. Now, what were they?

1) Nembutsu -- Saiyuki fic. I FINALLY found out what happens at the end of the past time, so I can write this now. In theory. Dedicated to pellaz.

2) Unnamed Harry Potter fic, sequel to Watch Over. Very weird and angst and did I say weird?

3) Yami no Matsuei 'cookies' fic. Who am I kidding, I'll never finish this one.

4) I could have sworn I had a fourth. But perhaps I do not. -_-


Naruto:

Gaara is a boy after my own heart. Why? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T EXPLAIN HIS ATTACKS BEFORE HE DOES THEM. He gets Kankuro to do it for him, but still. Hot damn. Here I was wishing mightily for someone to come along who'd just stare at his enemy and then attack them, rather than boasting and swaggering for ten minutes first, and here he is. <3 <3 <3

It's trying to. But I'm prevented from watching more than two or three episodes at once by a profound irritation with my player, which plays slow and jerks the picture every two seconds.

I'm glad you like him. My reaction to seeing Gaara in action was primal terror, a condition that lasted essentially through the rest of the Chuunin exams. But you're good to go!

And Gaara is just so fucking awesome. Mostly I like how he stands there bored and kicks ass. If I could control sand like that, I'd be blase, too.

Fights in Naruto can go a little slow sometimes, but it's such a good series!
