What does it say that Shika strikes me as the most straight (note: not 'least gay') of Konoha's ninja? You get the distinct impression that he could have any chick he wanted, he just can't be bothered to go out and pick them up.
says you and me have the same 'dar. he doesn't ping the gay side of it very much (which is why i don't like to pair him with any guy, not even chouji -- unless the thing with chouji is something that transcends gender. that i could see. otherwise it's much too sweet as a friendship.)
I'm actually really happy that Shika seems to have befriended Naruto -- in a way that just doesn't ping my gaydar the way Naruto and anyone else does. Naruto needs friends.
yeah, they're just -- just friends. It doesn't feel like anything remotely romantic to me, maybe because there's no competition. (also, you know a guy is straight when he's that casual about wearing a fishnet shirt -- if he was gay he'd try to make it look sexy... and that's because he doesn't that it is, and i'm not making sense anymore, am I? XD)
