When an American company gets hold of a series and translates the script, they make an effort to dumb it down and/or carefully weed out the potentially offensive or overtly sexual parts... right? I mean, they don't want to scare off any of their kiddie audience, right? So no American company would ever take part of an original script that was entirely innocent and race it up... right?

Wrong.

Episode 5, "Dash! Auto-Mail" -- the conversation between Hughes and Roy on the train, according the the subtitles.

Hughes: So you see ...
Hughes: ever since my wife got pregnant, she's becoming more and more pretty ...
