Dec. 2nd, 2005 09:10 pm10 things you hate probably knew about me:
1) I'm 21. That means I'm old enough to drink, smoke, vote, read and produce porn, but still assaulted by the slings and arrows of college. ;_;
2) I cope with trauma by sharing it. If you happen to be around me when you hear me shriek in pain at some new brain breakage, beware.
3) I'm the youngest of three sisters. (Apparently this isn't as obvious as I thought, because
cryogenia said I gave out older-sister vibes or something.)
4) I'm an introvert. That means interacting with people tires me out, and I go away to relax. So if I'm avoiding talking to you, it's probably not because I don't like you, but because I'm procrastinating doing work i.e, socializing.
5) I am a terrible procrastinator. I joke about this a lot but it's also quite serious. I will procrastinate even on things I like, enjoy, want to do, or that have significant rewards, not because they're so difficult or terrible, just because I procrastinate on everything. I am also exceedingly lazy. I look with great unenthusiasm at any prospective job or project that would demand a large amount of time and effort invested on my part. My primary consideration for jobs, classes, and social events is whether or not I'm going to have to get up early to attend.
6) It takes me some prompting to get me to try new things, even if I know I'll like it once I do. (See also: procrastination.)
7) I can't stand watching or reading humiliation. I despise comedy that revolves around one or another character being humiliated. If I'm reading a story where some character is undergoing extreme humiliation I'll usually skip ahead.
8) I don't like to compete because I hate to lose. (Hating to lose also means I tend to avoid politics, the news, and other things that upset and enrage my moral sensibilities, because the sense of helplessness it makes me feel means I have lost before I could even begin.)
9) If a television set is on in a room, no matter how much I hate what is being played, I have no choice but to watch it.
10) I don't expect my friends to be perfect. :) If you're my friend, I consider it my obligation to accept you as you are and not to hold any of your faults or flaws against you.

Date: 2005-12-03 10:18 am (UTC)And I like your introversion. Makes it very easy to share a hotel room with you, because you're not yammering at me constantly or dragging me out to do something or bringing back twenty friends and staying up all night!
