Warning: Al-angst. Why does my Al always speak in run-on sentences?
Pairing: Some very minor Roy/Ed and possible Al/Ed undercurrents
Spoilers: Not set in canon timeline; postulates an entirely different set of circumstances leading about up to the time period of episodes 49-51.
Author's notes: This fic is entirely unrelated to any projects I've got going; it's just an idea that came to me the other night, and I thought it had been far too long since I'd just written an FMA fic for the hell of it. I'm not entirely pleased with it, since it feels awkward and heavy-handed in some places and just... doesn't completely do what I wanted it to, but whatevs. It's done.
( He was afraid and he was not even sure what he was afraid of, because there were so many things that could go wrong. )
