desert fic rewritten

Okay, I know this will look familiar -- but I rewrote, and rearranged, and added material, and oh yeah this fic is in first person now because the pronouns were killing me. X_x Even if you've read this before, I advise looking for the new stuff. And more new stuff to follow.
