Title: Sins of the Father
Pairing: Dante+Hohenheim, DantexEd, other a surprise: DantexEnvy
Warnings: NCS, incest, weird
Spoilers: This fic takes on a somewhat different nuance if you've seen episode 50, but it can be read without and not give away any spoilers. Nevertheless, thematic spoilers at least up to 46.

( He was almost too small to support her, but she liked the feeling; it allowed her to overwhelm him, control him in a way she could never dream of doing with Hohenheim himself. )

Ye-es... this fic was written entirely out of my desire to make Envy suffer. I hate him so very, very much, but I had trouble thinking of things to do that would truly hurt the bastard. Dante molesting him alone might not; but the fact that during this whole thing he's cosntantly being compared to Hohenheim, whom he despises, and the fact that he's being used as second best in place of the brother he's so wildly jealous of, would really make him burn.

Oh, and, don't blame me for this fic. I'm not a sick bitch, Dante is. Yeah. I mean, just look at her obsessing with Hohenheim, and subsequently lusting over Ed. This is a woman with issues. All that and she's got a man who can look like anyone sitting in her back pocket; do you honestly think she isn't doing Very Inappropriate Things to him behind every closed door?

This was not easy to write. Ed muse bolted when told he would have to pose with Dante (and can you blame him?) He finally agreed, but then threw a tantrum and stormed out before I'd gotten farther than "Edward Elric was short enough..." Managed to coax him back with promises of an Ed/Al cuddling fic later, but I don't have too much inspiration for that. Suggestions?

Well-written, aside from the Envy-abuse. Dante's just creepy in a really scary way. You can see where Envy gets it from...

Damn you! You made me fetch my copy of The Once and Future King. Blast. Alas, though, it made happy mental references to 'classical' literature. Perhaps someday you might expand upon the theme? Some sort of odd stream-of-conciousness angst-thing taking into account White's evil bits of poetry? Because it strangely fits FMA, and by God, I wish it didn't. When shall I be dead and rid/Of the wrong my father did?/How long, how long, till spade and hearse/Put to sleep my mother's curse? Um . . . doom on you.

This was lovely! Envy!Ed's bits of dialogue made sense either way, and it was really encouraging to reread and see that. Was very creative. I particularly liked your descriptions of how Dante's body was rotting. (Um. Not sick. Just like imagery. Yes.) Had a little trouble understanding the bit with the array and the threat of sealing Envy into the floor, but that may be because I've seen only the first episode and have read but four volumes? Perhaps. Anyway, wonderful, and very good crazy Dante.

O_O But you're reading fics with spoilers all the way to the last arc? Bold!

But yes. The bit about "sealing" homunculi doesn't get introduced until episode 21 of the anime, and doesn't get expanded on until episode 32 or so. I don't know if it gets handled in the same way in the manga at all. In the anime 'sealing' a homunculi requires an array which Dante knows (possibly which she designed) and a part of the homunculi's original body, and it seems to be possible to maintain for hundreds of years on end. I am explicating a bit, since I don't think any part of Envy's original body remains, and sealing "into the floor" would sort of be a step up from just the ordinary method. Heh. The point is, it's power that Dante has over Envy. :)
